"Everyone has a story to tell and each story holds value, meaning and growth for all who spend the time to listen."
Zara is a proudly visible trans woman. She came out in 2017 at the age of 40 and has been advocating for the trans community since then. She started an all ages trans and gender diverse social support group in Bendigo and shares her life story openly to educate and raise awareness about trans experiences.
She has a passion for sharing stories through video production and in 2021, started an LGBTIQ variety chat show, Speak EZ
Zara uses she/them pronouns, is a proud parent of two wonderful adolescents and loves spending time with friends, building community and has a new found love for self expression through fashion.
